The CD "Half A Mile High" was named for Bluefield which is about 2,700 feet in elevation.  14 original songs are included on 13 tracks produced by Alex McCallum and George Robertson.  The inspiring artwork is by Vicky Stata.  The songs span blues rock and rockabilly styles.  Songs include: Found You Here Tonight, All Around, Fourth Grade Teacher, Another Day, Morning Flower Song, Soul Lady, Bail Out Blues, It Just Doesn't Matter, Love's Power, Voices, Reason Why, Time Melody, Heartless Land and Smoky Baby.  The CD is available at gigs at a lower cost.  To purchase the initial CD via mail, please send $12 to cover the cost of the CD plus shipping to George Robertson at POB 896, Bluefield, VA 24605Thanks for your support.

George Robertson performs rock, rockabilly, boogie blues, folk rock, rock & roll, country rock and classic country mixed with originals straight from the heart.   His guitar style is unique and he has clearly added his own riffs that are influenced by Luther Perkins, Carl Perkins and Chuck Berry.  Remember the Rockabilly style when it was sultry, fat, and clear like the sound of the Sun Studio musicians in Memphis.  He plays hours of originals that capture moods and feelings or just let it out!  His music has a smooth rhythm with clear vocals that reflect a strong delta influence connecting somewhere between Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and Ricky Nelson.  As his vocal range continues to increase some listeners suggest influence of Roy Orbison.  George says he is happy to enjoy music.  His hope is to give back the love that he receives and for everyone to experience the energy and and freedom that is the gift inside each and every one of us.
